After a great October at SochGreen where we offered more than 40% off on many of our products in our GREAT DIWALI SALE, November nearly went by with equally exciting events. In the beginning of November, our founder Priyanka Nagpal Jain spoke about the need to switch to reusable period products at an event in Delhi. The event named ‘Mummy Pappa Ki Paathshaala’ is running in its seventh edition; it had several sessions aimed at soon-to-be parents and one of the sessions on reusable products was conducted by our founder.
The third weekend of November was equally eventful for us at SochGreen. Our volunteer in Bangalore, Sharmada Shastry, had the opportunity to host a stall at the big and beautiful Infosys campus in Bangalore. Infosys completed 25 years and invited many eco-friendly brands to put up a stall at their campus. The event was held on 15th November and attracted more than 5000 employees in the campus. We tirelessly educated the crowd about the need to switch to reusable period products; many women thought cloth pads were a great option but they had many doubts about using them in an office setting. These doubts were cleared and many women brought bundles of SochPads. In fact, we were sold out on our Medium and Large-sized SochPads by the end of the day! The highlight of the day was when the girls at the Dominos food court were mesmerized by the idea of menstrual cups!
Before the next event came one great announcement! We have been able to bring down the cost of our SochCup from INR 1575 to INR 1395! This is a huge win for us since we do our best to keep costs low and make SochCups affordable and available for women of all economic backgrounds.
The third Sunday of November saw members of SochGreen put up an awareness-cum-sale stall at the GoodEarth Malhar Mela in Bangalore. An annual event set in the midst of a totally green community that has eco homes, Malhar Mela is a great platform for up and coming sustainability brands. The entire event was eco-friendly and the response we got from the members was great. Many young girls were drawn to SochUnderwear and SochCups. The older women were happy with the idea of SochPads and SochUnderwear. In a matter of hours, we were sold out on our petite range of SochPads and many sizes of our SochUnderwear.
